logo   The Ripley Dissectagons 4-H Vet club met at the Ripley-Huron Vet Clinic Thursday, July 29, to learn about animal muscles and bones.

Bones from The Beef Way were brought in to show the members the make-up of the bones, cartilage and joints and how they work together to enable an animal to move.

The club also learned that cylinder bones are stronger than flat bones.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 11.
