Bluewater District School Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Rob) Cummings as Superintendent of Business Services/Treasurer effective June 17, 2014.

The appointment follows the retirement of Brenda Booth, who joined Bluewater District School Board in 2002, where she has held the position of Superintendent of Business/Treasurer since 2007.

Rob brings with him over twenty years of experience in public sector organizations, most recently in the municipal sector where he led the Finance and Information Technology departments at the Town of The Blue Mountains. Throughout his career, Rob has achieved a consistent track record of financial accountability and sustainability. He is a Certified Management Accountant and also holds Bachelor degrees with majors in Administrative Studies and Economics from York University.

Rob and his family reside in Owen Sound where he is actively involved in the Owen Sound Minor Soccer Association, both as a coach and committee volunteer. He enjoys spending time with his family participating in the many recreational activities that our region offers.
