A Stratford couple is seeking the public's help in locating their dog, "Sydney," who has been lost in the Kincardine area since Sunday, June 29.

The dog was spooked by a thunderstorm and then all the fireworks.

"Sydney: is a Bernese Mountain dog, weighs 90 pounds, and is black with brown and white markings.

The couple and their dog were visiting with the woman's parents in a cottage off the Wickham Cove area. The dog was spotted July 2 and 3 on Concession 5, near Bruce County Road 23 (B-line).

"Sydney" was used to roaming on a farm until her owners got her about a month ago. She is friendly, but seems skittish of people while on the run.

If you have seen this dog, contact Darryl and Catherine at 519-998-5171 or 519-396-1911.
