The final Cruise Night of the summer drew a good crowd and about 325 vehicles to downtown Kincardine, Friday evening.

There were plenty of interesting and vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles to see at the event.

One that drew a lot of attention was the reproduction 1955 Mercedes, owned by Mike Smith of Port Elgin. The previous owner purchased the body and frame in 1987. Smith bought it in 2009 and completed the project, for a total of 25 years to build it.

This is the most iconic car in the world, he said, and only nine exist. None is available for purchase.

Also among the interesting vehicles at Cruise Night, were a 1922 Ford Model "T" Touring Car, owned by Paul French of Mount Brydges; a 1966 Marlin, owned by Wayne and Terri Schell of Tiverton; and a 1938 Ford pick-up, owned by Wayne and Jenn Goldsmith of Durham.
