The students wore their 'Huston Hawks' spirit T-shirts ...

... and then began their warm-up

Southampton's G. C. Huston Public School may be small but, when it comes to causes, it is a mighty force of school spirit.

The weatherman cooperated with warm, summer-like temperatures for the  students and teachers who ran in support of the 'Terry Fox' fundraising effort for cancer research on Wednesday, September 24th.

The school had originally set its goal at $500 but far surpassed expectations - raising approximately $1,800.

The students and staff all wore their 'Huston Hawks' T-shirts with the all-important message on the back of ... sharing, caring, kindness and respect, a motto that the entire school is expected to live up to.
