Saugeen Shores' Mayor Mike Smith at the recent Mayor's Breakfast said that the bridge across the Saugeen River needs a $10 Million replacement and that he is hopeful that the Province will step up.

He also said that the Premier recently stated that interconnecting links are a priority.

He also said that, although the community is fortunate overall and there may be more workers and families coming to the area if the refurbishment at Bruce Nuclear site goes ahead, there are people in the community who need help.

"People should not be worrying about utilities or if they are going to be cut off," said Smith.
