The annual Saugeen Shores Leisure Fair was held on Wednesday, March 11th at the Plex in Port Elgin.

It is a 'one-stop' sign up for summer activities that will take place in the community.

From participating in various groups or sports teams to volunteering for organizations, the Fair is a chance to people to meet one-on-one and ask their questions first-hand.

Air Cadets is an opportunity to learn a wide variety of skills

Although the public attendance numbers were reportedly fewer this year, Heather Lorenz with the Town of Saugeen Shores, explained that the fewer numbers were a result of the progress of on-line registrations that many organizations have moved toward.

The newest sport being offered this year is lacrosse and learning the basic skills.  "The response to this has been incredible," said Lorenz .  "We only have a few spots left after only the one night of sign-up."
