First, there was the "Boston Pops" and now there's "Pops Go the Royals".

Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS) concert band is about to take on something a little different, with highlights from Broadway's 'The Jersey Boys' and 'Rent' to 'Blue Moon' and a Queen medley along with Leonard Cohen's smash hit, 'Hallelujah'... they may even take on a little Black Sabbath, Scorpions and some 'Ozzie'.

The show, under the direction of teacher Kerrie Lynn Boys, will also feature the new guitar class and the newly formed vocal students and it won't be 'white shirt' concert attire either when the band takes a more relaxed approach.

'Pops Go the Royals' is tomorrow, Thursday May 21st at 7:30 at SDSS.

Admission is by donation.
