The Canadian Technology success story Blackberry is still struggling.  They have very loyal customers, however.  Their numbers for the first quarter of fiscal year 2015 follow:

  • Hardware and smart phone sales $263 million US.
  • Revenue from software and technology $137 million US.
  • Overall revenue including the above was $658 million US.
  • Losses $28 million US.
  • Cash on hand and investments $3.32 Billion US

The interesting number is $3.32 Billion.  They could use some of this money to acquire technology and technology companies.
