The 'practice' wall



Ron Ritchie achieved his Level 3A in dry stone-walling with his creation of a precise semi-circular construction and is working toward his Master certification

The first Stone Festival held at Saugeen First Nation saw at least five crafters receive certifications at various levels in dry stone walling.

The Stone Festival also hosted several Master craftsmen from England, Scotland, Wales and the United States who shared their talents and skills and saw hundreds of visitors come out to watch the stone work techniques.
