If you have been in the Legion Clubroom recently, you will have noticed the renovations taking place.

The entire bar area is being totally remodelled and will be much improved and more user friendly for both the staff and customers alike. Thank you for your patience during the renovations.

There are still a limited number of tickets for the Cliff Erickson show on October 23rd. Get your tickets at the Legion, Re-Max, Home Hardware or Boston Pizza.

 Euchre is played every Friday evening at 7 p.m. and meat draws are held Saturdays with the first draw at 3 p.m.

All members are also encouraged to try and attend the next General Meeting on Sunday Oct 25 at 2 p.m.

The dart leagues are now all underway but if you havenít been out yet and would like to play, come on out and  join in the fun, itís never too late. The ladies league is Monday at 7:30 p.m., the mixed league is Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. and the menís league is Thursday at 7:00 p.m.

On Wednesday, October 14th, the new shuffleboard league had its first games. There is still room for more players so if you are interested contact Doug Holtby at holtbyd@tnt21.com or 519-396-8184.

 Remembrance Day is fast approaching and the events taking place leading up to November 11 are as follows:

 November 8: there will be a Remembrance Day Service in Tiverton at 2 p.m. followed by our Remembrance Day Banquet at the Kincardine Legion. The banquet begins with a social hour at 4 p.m. followed by dinner at 5 p.m. The guest speaker will be Derek Moore, Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command Vice President. Tickets are $15.00 each and are available at the Legion office and clubroom bar.

November 11: our Kincardine Legion service begins in the hall at 10 a.m. and will move outdoors to the Cenotaph at approximately 10:40 a.m.

The Legion Craft Show will be held this year on Saturday, November 14th. Come out and get an early start on your Christmas shopping.
