Dr. Adrian Sannier is a professor at Arizona State University.  I worked with him for years on interesting projects.  He has good insight into the future.  One of his specialties is the impact of technology on Education.

He is a dynamic speaker and can hold an audience.  See how he forms his arguments.  He is speaking to an audience who feels they have made great progress, but he tells them otherwise.  He asks:

Would a girl born in 1830 be surprised, if she was plunked down now in Bruce County?  Yes, cars, planes, air conditioners, phones, pads, video games ... on and on.

If, however, you put her into a Bruce County classroom, she would be just fine.  Boards, books, chairs and desks with a teacher.

Check out this dynamic speaker's thesis.  Ignore the guy who introduces Dr. Sannier as he does not pronounce his name correctly.
