Rotarians and guests filled the Walker House for annual Auction Dinner
More than 130 Rotarians and guests attended the annual Southampton Rotary Dinner Auction on Saturday, October 17th, at the Walker House in Southampton.
The evening featured both a live and silent auction of many items donated by the business community throughout Saugeen Shores.
Among the auctioned items was a lunch or dinner with Mayor Mike Smith and wife Donna
In past years, the event has raised between $15,000 to $18,000. In 2014, $18,100 was raised and a total is yet to be determined for this year's function.
All proceeds raised at the event go toward Rotary projects in the community and International projects.
Auctioneer and Rotary President, Pat O'Connor, kept the bids coming in fast and furious.

One of the top items auctioned were tickets to a Toronto Raptors basketball game won by Bob Speight with his winning bid.
Mary Putnam donated $1,000 on behalf of the family and Walker House for the Hospital Campaign ...
... which made Rotary District Governor and Hospital Campaign Chair, Tony Sheard, all smiles
