Chantry Island Cham-bettes keep on giving to the community

Chantry Island Cham-bettes' annual 2015 Christmas Garage Sale was successful beyond expectations.

Each year, the group asks for donations of Christmas items for the fundraising garage sale and, this year, the sale held on November 19th, broke fundraising records.

The sale is held at the Boathouse in Southampton each year and all proceeds then go toward local community projects.

Cham-bette Sahar Hassanien said the crowds had been amazing

"This year's Christmas garage sale raised $2,039.20 ...a record breaking amount," says organizer, Cherie Duhaime. "The community support has been incredible.  Each year, the sale continues to grow and, this year, is the best yet."
