It was all about turkeys as Southampton Rotary
picked up a van-load from Rowland's Independent Grocer

(L) Ryan Casemore of Independent and Rotarians Stewart Nutt & Ed Braun

Southampton Rotary made their annual turkey stop on Friday, December 11th at Rowland's Independent Grocer in Port Elgin.

There, they loaded up a van full of some 50 turkeys before heading over to the Salvation Army Food Bank.

"We always budget to buy turkeys for Christmas," says Rotarian Ed Braun, "and Rowland's gives us such a deal on them that we are able to provide even more for the Food Bank."
