Young students help with Santa hampers

Santa was helped out this Christmas season by the junior Rotarian Interact Club.

The young students raised funds to provide gift baskets to each of the three elementary schools, Northport Public School, Saugeen Central School and St. Joseph's, in Port Elgin for families who may be slightly in need at Christmas.

The students donated some $1,000 in gifts ranging from toys to gift certificates and food that were distributed anonymously to families of the schools.
