Monday afternoon games time was a well attended and happy event.

The cribbage players had a hilarious  time counting their fifteens.  The winner was a big name that is often  there.   Lil Faulkner got a good low of 46 but poor charming Bill Morley got the high  of 147.  However, they had lots of fun.

Counting the lessons sites, there were probably seven tables of four playing bridge.  In the main lesson room, they are becoming experts at duplicate bridge but, at the beginners room, they are learning how to bid properly.

There were just two tables of us playing regular contract bridge but we had a raucous time trying to out do each other.  Audrey Carter got the modest score of 4280 but only 110 points behind was the irrepressible  Tim Hotchkiss with 4170.  Congratulations folks on some talented playing.

The PARC 55 + group and friends meet every Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the Rotary Hall of the Port Elgin Plex for cribbage, bridge lessons and regular contract bridge.  Everyone is welcome.  Come out to join us or take lessons in bridge playing.

We also have a beginning of the month Luncheon (the first Wednesday of each month) in the same location.  We have a good time together and most of the time we have a speaker on a current topic.

This week we had Katherine Martinko speak to us about the refugees that are coming to this area.
