Memorial Tree Planting

Danny and Mary Rose Graham of Kincardine and their cousins, Jas and Betty Webster of Edmonton, Alberta, donated two gingko biloba trees to the Municipality of Kincardine to be planted in the Graham Memorial Garden at the northern end of the boardwalk at Station Beach, Kincardine.

The trees are in memory of their uncle, Don Picot, and their friend, Germaine "Gerry" Poulton. They chose this type of tree because it is one of the oldest trees, it helps keep the air clean, and gingko is an agent for improving memory.
