Fifty-four Grades 7 and 8 students from Kincardine Township Tiverton Public School spent the afternoon on Earth Day (April 22), cleaning up trash around the perimeter of the Ward 2 landfill site at Armow in the annual Clean Sweep event.

Several of the students were also interviewed by Rob Macleod of 95.5 The Coast Radio for the Landfill Public Service Announcement. Event organizer Carol Blake said the students did a terrific job cleaning up garbage, sorting recyclable materials and putting it in the proper bins at the site.
