The Man in the Tilley Hat Returns

Must write a note, just come back from a trip in town (Southampton), IT IS MINUS SIX C....and having been in the Horticulture Industry all my life it grieves me that one still see plants being mistreated.

A Lady was carrying an UNWRAPPED POINSETTIA out of a an office/store front with NO COVER on the Flowering Bracts! and this on High Street and what the wind-chill factor is along that street?

PLEASE A WORD OF WARNING when there are these cold conditions DO NOT TAKE PLANTS OR FLOWERS OUTSIDE IN THE COLD, NOR LEAVE THEM IN CARS etc when one goes shopping.
The number of times I have seen this each year, and the plants are ruined ...poinsettias, and Norfolk Island Pine are the ones that BIG BOX STORES let customers go outside without any protection!
