Southampton Rotary heads into a busy summer of events

For Southampton Rotary Club, it’s time to ‘Swing into Summer’ with events.

The summer started off with the Annual Showcase that was held at the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre that welcomes potential new members and explains the history and work of Rotary International.

Then, on June 21st the summer Solstice, Southampton Rotary gathered at the Southampton Golf & Country Club to raise even more funds at their FUNdraising Swing into Summer golf tournament.  More than 100 golfers turned out to enjoy a weather-perfect day on the golf course.  Among the golfers were Saugeen Shores Town Councilors and several business owners.

A silent and live-auction were also held but totals have not yet been determined.  All funds raised go into local community and International Rotary projects.
