The fireworks that were to be hosted by Bruce Power in celebration of the 25th amalgamation Anniversary in Port Elgin tonight, August 11th, have been cancelled.
Weather predictions are for rain and due to high winds, the fireworks are not deemed safe.
According to a source, the fireworks will now be included with those held annually in September on Labour Day long weekend for an even more spectacular show.
