A final celebration and farewell to the beloved Teeswater Bridge of Paisley

After more than half a century, the Paisley Teeswater Bridge in the Municipality of Arran-Elderslie has come to an end.

On Wednesday, August 10th from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., a once-in-a-generation community celebration will be held at the bridge.

Where the mighty Saugeen and Teeswater Rivers meet in Paisley, the farewell ceremony will feature Arran-Elderslie Mayor Steve Hammell, an historic talk about the bridge, live music, a celebratory cake, paint and sidewalk chalk and …. MORE!

Everyone interested in the history of Bruce County of which the Teeswater Bridge played a key role, is invited for this once-in-a-generation community celebration!
