  • Fireworks are permitted to be sold on Canada Day and the week following.
  • Only people 18 years of age and older are allowed to purchase or sell fireworks.
  • Fireworks can be set off on Canada and the day afterwards (July 2, 2022) between dusk — approx. 9:13 p.m. — and 11:00 pm.
  • Fireworks cannot be set off on or near sidewalks, highways, parks, or shopping plazas.
  • Firecrackers are not permitted within the Town of Saugeen Shores.
  • Fireworks Display within Town limits require a permit from the Fire Chief.
