It was two celebrations in one at Kingsway Arms of Elgin Lodge on Friday, October 26th.
October birthday ‘babies’ celebrated their birthdays while other residents got the chance to dress up in early anticipation of Halloween. 
While they are all special birthdays and reasons to celebrate at Kingsway Arms of Elgin Lodge retirement living, Elli Permoller had special reason to celebrate after turning 100 on October 15th. Helping her celebrate was her daughter, Heidi and son-in-law Dave Summerton. According to her son-in-law, Elli has a glass of brandy every night before bed and, he says she is “… as sharp as a tack”.
