The ‘Why We Sing’ outdoor concert brought home exactly the words of ‘Why THEY Sing’ … a love of music.  Accompanied by pianist, Adrian Little, they performed a wide variety of musical selections from folksongs that included the violin artistry of Kim Lake, to a medley from Phantom of the Opera.

The Chantry Singers, founded by Jeanette Steeves, has gone on to sing around the world for almost 50 years and, today, is under the direction of Ann Little.

The group of local residents, from young to young-at-heart, love to sing.  They have also however, supported many local charitable organizations through their concerts, including the Women’s House Serving Bruce and Grey, the local food bank, the Hospital Chaplaincy program and many more.
