A peek into the ‘rich and famous’

John White has been privy to the lives of famous people through the lens of his camera as he traveled the world capturing the rich and famous, some posing, some not.

For a limited time, the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre, is featuring White’s captivating photography exhibition of photos that include the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger, Burt Reynolds, Amy Winehouse, Keano Reeves, Robin Williams, Lauren Bacall and many others.

While you are viewing this window into celebrities’ lives, you can also bid on your favourite images through the silent auction in the gallery  and in person at the Museum.

All 20” x 30” photograph bids will start at $25.

All 16”x 12” photograph bids will start at $15.

All photos will be uploaded to the website at http://www.brucemuseum.ca/exhibits/john-white-celebrity-photo-show/

Each Friday the website will be updated with the current highest bid for each photo.

Patrons can either bid in person or via email at museumauction@brucecounty.on.ca

All email bids will receive a confirmation email informing them that their bid has been received and was either successful or unsuccessful at taking the lead in the auction.

For a bid to be successful, it must have a full name, email address or phone number and amount of bid in legible print.  All persons who bid during the silent auction will receive a telephone or email invitation to attend the wrap party.

The Silent Auction will close during the “Wrap Party” on Wednesday, December 18 at 7:30 p.m. Photographs will be sold to the highest bid and will be announced before 8:30 p.m. on December 18th.

All photographs must be paid for in full and picked up by noon on December 31, 2019. All items remaining after this time will revert to the ownership of John White photography.

The show opened September 13th and runs through to December 18th.
