The Town of Saugeen Shores is pleased to announce that the Rainbow Crosswalk has now been created. Located on Gustavus Street in Port Elgin outside Saugeen District Senior School (SDSS), the crosswalk was completed on August 26th (2020).
The Town would like to thank Bruce Power for its contribution in support of this project as well as all those who championed the crosswalk project throughout its planning and execution.
“Diversity makes us stronger, and the Rainbow Crosswalk is a symbol of our community’s commitment to inclusivity,” said Mayor Luke Charbonneau.
