Another collision in Port Elgin – second in three days

On a bright sunny day road conditions were perfect and, yet, there was another collision.

In Port Elgin, at Hwy. 21 north of Market Street in front of the Dr. Earl Health Centre and Port Elgin Cinema, police attended a two-vehicle collision in the afternoon September 14th.

The cause of the accident has not yet been released and is still under investigation.

A witness, who was driving a classic ‘mint’ Thunderbird convertible, said that he could not believe his vehicle was untouched.  “I thought I would take my car out for the last drive of the summer and before I knew it there were two vehicles and I was in the middle of them … one in front of me and the other on my right.  I don’t know exactly what happened but my car is untouched.”
