It was another successful Showcase Season for Bruce County Playhouse!
Bruce County Playhouse (BCPH) would like to thank all Showcase Volunteers, Performers and Audiences over the three shows this 2023 winter. We’ve accomplished so much together!
True story – at the first Southampton Sunday Showcase in 2016, there were more performers than folks in the audience. This March’23 Showcase, there were 17 individual performances (song, dance, story telling, guitar, keyboard) and 80 audience members! That’s real growth for sure!

“What is even more gratifying,” says Leslie McNamara, Promotional Director, “is that so many Saugeen Shores (and surrounding area) residents are willing to brave the winter winds to join us on a Sunday afternoon at our beloved Southampton Town Hall Theatre to support local talent – in one word – quality!

BCPH is already looking forward to next year when the first Sunday Showcase will be on January 28th, 2024. “Dare we ask you to save the date?” says McNamara.
In the meantime, Bruce County Playhouse is gearing up for an exciting live theatre summer season.
