Archive Awareness Week: A virtual exploration of photography

Tomorrow, April 6th, the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) is hosting a virtual opportunity to explore the history of photography through its archival collection.
From cyanotypes, tintypes, and cabinet cards to 35mm and sheet negatives, it’s a chance to witness the evolution of photography and learn about some of the photos that are housed at BCM&CC.
A live Q&A will follow the recorded presentation on Facebook Live.

Your photos may help tell Bruce County’s story! Contact archives@brucecounty.on.ca to donate your photographs of Bruce County places, events and people, and preserve the County’s history for future generations.

This event will be held on the BCM&CC Facebook Page as a virtual presentation at 2:00 p.m. with a live Question & Answer period at the end.

This event is FREE and is sponsored by the Bruce County Historical Society.
