Archive Awareness Week: A virtual exploration of photography

Tomorrow, April 6th, the Bruce County Museum and Cultural Centre (BCM&CC) is hosting a virtual opportunity to explore the history of photography through its archival collection.
From cyanotypes, tintypes, and cabinet cards to 35mm and sheet negatives, it’s a chance to witness the evolution of photography and learn about some of the photos that are housed at BCM&CC.
A live Q&A will follow the recorded presentation on Facebook Live.

Your photos may help tell Bruce County’s story! Contact to donate your photographs of Bruce County places, events and people, and preserve the County’s history for future generations.

This event will be held on the BCM&CC Facebook Page as a virtual presentation at 2:00 p.m. with a live Question & Answer period at the end.

This event is FREE and is sponsored by the Bruce County Historical Society.
