On Friday, May 13 officers on patrol observed a female known to them who was wanted on two warrants of arrest.
Officers stopped the female and placed her under arrest. During the at-scene investigation, an officer discovered that the female was in possession of a large amount of suspected purple and green fentanyl.
She was transported to the police station and held for bail hearing.
A 22 year old Bruce County woman has been charged with:
- Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking – CDSA 5(2)
Later in the day the female was released on her own recognizance.
Value of seized fentanyl – $2,800
Cash seized – $475
