Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Bruce County Playhouse (BCPH) is heading into another magic summer of live theatre.
It all begins next week, May 8th, with the return of the uproarious comedy, Sexy Laundry. First seen at Southampton’s Town Hall to capacity audiences, the play now takes a turn at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound.
Following in June is an opportunity for local singers to take to the stage when BCPH holds a special karaoke night in preparation for Karaoke Dreamer in July. The event on June 6th is open to all singers and to those who simply enjoy a night of fun and music. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and there will be a cash bar, confectionery and 50/50 draw with admission by donation.
Next on the roster, still in June, is the comedy Smarty Pants. The production opens June 13th with a gala mix ‘n’ mingle evening featuring music by the Charlie Bell Trio, hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and an opportunity to meet the playwright with a fun Q&A with the actors and Artistic Director, Natalie Robitaille.
August will feature the BIG return of The Kitchen Witches for the special 10th anniversary year and wind-up of summer productions.
