Heading into the holiday season, there are, and have been, many events that include fundraising cookie walks and seasonal bake sales.
The popular ‘Cookie Walk’ in Southampton raised approximately $1,100 for the Southampton Curling Club.
In Port Elgin, Tolmie Presbyterian Church held its first cookie sale selling cookies by the pound. The sale raised more than $1,000 that is a fundraiser for the church.
The Southampton Curling Club also held its annual ‘Cookie Walk’, which is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the group. This year, approximately $1,100 was raised for the Club.
