During the winter months, there are many ‘seniors’ in Saugeen Shores who do not travel south or to warmer climes. Instead, although they remain ‘at home’ for the winter, they remain active in a ‘hardy’ Canadian way.
In Southampton, the Chantry Centre has become a ‘go to’ centre for activities almost on a daily basis.
Tuesdays: Regular lunches – $6.00
First Friday of the month: Pot luck – bring a favourite dish and join the crowd
First Thursday of the month: Jamboree night of music – 6:30 – 9:00 (ish)
