The drive-by ‘birthday party’ in this time of isolation has become a popular way to show those celebrating a birthday that they are remembered.
The Chantry Island Cham-bettes, a group of women who exemplify FUNdraising for their community, held not one but two drive-by(s) on Monday, April 27th (2020) for two of the group’s members.

The first drive-by was for Cham-bette Mary Ellen Renaud who is celebrating a ‘milestone’ 
birthday.
Horns were blaring, gifts were dropped off at a distance and the song ‘Happy Birthday’ rang out over a megaphone.
The next stop/drive-by was at Cham-bette Betty Hoshoian’s home, the second ‘birthday girl’.
