Today, April 1st (2023), the residents of Chesley (ON) plan to take to the streets to save their local Hospital Emergency Room care.

Over the past few months, the ER has been temporarily closed on several occasions due to staff shortages.

While a rural hospital is vital to a community economically, it is also a key to rural medical care where geography has an impact.

The peaceful rally today begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Chesley hospital and everyone concerned about keeping health care close to home in rural communities is invited to attend.
