We are barely into Fall but it’s that time of year again, when the Chantry Island Cham-Bettes get ready for their biggest fundraiser of the year in Saugeen Shores … the annual Christmas Tour of Homes.
The Tour, on November 16th and 17th, will feature some of the most beautiful homes in Saugeen Shores, each with a unique Christmas theme decorated by local designers working with homeowners.
Each year, local homeowners open their homes the major fundraiser for local health care and, one home is chosen as the ‘Saugeen Memorial Hospital Foundation’ keynote home. This year’s ‘Foundation’ choice is the Dennison home in Port Elgin.
Local designer Kaitlyn Shular will be working with the ‘Foundation House’ homeowners, Jenn Haessler and Steve Dennison, to create a Christmas theme befitting a dwelling that is home to the family of four, with two young children.
The Chantry Island Cham-bettes is a group of local women who FUNdraise throughout the year to support many local projects, such as the Saugeen Memorial Hospital, Chapman’s Hospice, Owen Sound Regional Cancer Care, Outdoor Education Centre, Marine Heritage Society and many more.
