Community comes together to support Tim Hortons Camp Day for kids

The annual Tim Hortons Camp day for kids on July 19th was again a success.

At Tim Hortons Southampton, the Rotary Club of Southampton hosted a BBQ, with food donated by Southampton Foodland, and that quickly sold out, raising $616.

Pastor David Baker and daughter Sarah, collected another $883 from generous customers at the drive-thru.

The grand total of $1,499 raised does not include all the coffee sales that will have been donated and tallied at the end of the day.

A BBQ was also held at the Port Elgin location of Tim Hortons on Gustavus Street and a total is yet to be determined.
