‘Cottage Streets’ Town study requesting public feedback

The Town is conducting a study on considerations to designate certain roads as “Cottage Streets”.

The “Cottage Streets Study” was delayed during and after the pandemic, but is now going ahead.

These are streets in the Town’s urban beachfront areas that vary from typical engineering standards and generally have narrower rights-of-way.

The study would also help determine design standards, as well as a map of these areas and includes cottage areas in both Southampton and Port Elgin.
Join us at one of our upcoming Public Information Centres (PICs) to learn more about the study and share your comments.
