COVID-19 testing and case counts reported as of April 1, 2020

Grey Bruce Health Unit continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation.

As of April 1st, two new cases have been reported in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce.  A female, in her 30’s and a male in his 60s, both Health Care Providers, have tested positive and are self-isolating.

There are now 14 cases to date that includes the same previous Presumptive Positive now confirmed and five recovered cases.

  • 1 case related to COVID-19 now reported in a Long-Term Care facility
  • 2 cases reported in Health Care Providers
  • 10 negative test results received in past 24 hours
  • Total negative cases updates lack reliable data input

The estimated average time for results being received from the lab is five to six days.
