COVID-19 testing and case counts reported as of March 30, 2020

Grey Bruce Health Unit continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation.

As of March 30th, one new case has been reported in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce.  A female, in her 30’s tested positive evidently from community transmission and has been hospitalized.

There are 11 cases to date that includes the same previous Presumptive Positive now confirmed and one recovered case.

  • 0 cases related to COVID-19 reported in Long-Term Care facilities
  • 0 cases reported in Health Care Providers
  • 35 negative test results received in past 24 hours

The estimated average time for results being received from the lab is seven to eight days.

The Unit is currently adopting a three-month planning approach with a staging now underway for distribution of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donation from Bruce Power.
