COVID-19 testing and case counts reported as of March 31st, 2020

Grey Bruce Health Unit continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation.

As of March 31st, one new case has been reported in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce.  A female, in her 30’s tested positive evidently from community transmission and has been hospitalized.

There are now 12 cases to date that includes the same previous Presumptive Positive now confirmed and two recovered cases.

  • 0 cases related to COVID-19 reported in Long-Term Care facilities
  • 1 case reported in Health Care Providers
  • 10 negative test results received in past 24 hours
  • Total negative cases updates lack reliable data input

The estimated average time for results being received from the lab is seven to eight days.
