It was a full house at Three Sheets Brewery in Port Elgin as more than 50 people pitted their knowledge against each other in fun games at the weekly KwizKnow trivia night on Thursday.
From Geography to Broadway musicals, language to animals and horse racing to celebrities, the categories on Thursday night were as broad in range as the demographics of those who took part. While many questions were multiple choice, others needed a specific answer. It was evident that each team was knowledgeable in certain categories while for others it seemed as though there was a lot of guessing.
At the end, when answers were read out, there was also a lot of groaning and a lot of laughing over … “I knew that!”
With Three Sheets Brewery craft beers, non-stop popcorn and lots of food on hand, Trivia night has become one of the most popular fun events for any age.

Held each Thursday at Three Sheets Brewery in Port Elgin and hosted by KwizKnow owner, Karen Fehr, it is also a fundraiser with part of the $60 registration fee for a team of 2-4, going toward Southampton’s G. C. Huston Public School playground upgrades.
Also, the top three teams win cash prizes.
There is usually a waiting list to take part and, anyone who thinks they can out-answer anyone else, is encouraged to sign up.
The fun was due to end at the end of August but, because of the popularity and response, Trivia night is expected to continue into the Fall.
Fehr also hosts KwizKnow Trivia fun nights for corporate events, charitable fundraisers and private parties.
