Donation Slugfest continues for Lamont Sports Park campaign

The hits keep coming for the Lamont Sports Park Illuminating Dream Fundraising Campaign! Three more local organizations have helped the cause by each giving a $10,000 Home Run Donation to fund the park’s Phase 2.

“I continue to be astounded by the local support for this project”, says Committee Co-Chair Rob Stanley. “The generosity shown by the diverse kinds of businesses and organizations shows how important the Lamont Sports Park is for Saugeen Shores’ sense of community and well-being.”

“Boston Pizza and Social Athletics have been partners since Boston Pizza arrived in Saugeen Shores”, says Rob Fawcett, Committee Member and Social Athletics President.  “We promote active lifestyles, so it makes sense for both Boston Pizza and Social Athletics to support a project like this. “

The donors will all receive naming rights at the park, as well as a place on the park’s Lifetime Donor Board.  The campaign continues to raise funds for Phase 2, which will consist of two youth diamonds and an accessible playground.
