Donations to CFUW support local Women’s Shelters

The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) Southport provided support to three local women’s shelters as a result of donations given at the December 6th ‘Vigil Against Violence’ held in Port Elgin (Saugeen Shores).

 

“We thank all those who attended and donated,” said CFUW President Odette Bartnicki. “It is through the generosity of the Saugeen Shores community, that we were able to donate $700 to each shelter.”
