After three years with the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce, Executive Director Christine Mitchell is returning to run her own business, The Car Lady Canada.
Unable to run her company through the pandemic, Mitchell came to the Chamber in February 2021, eager for a new challenge and to partner with all businesses in the community. “I have loved every minute of working with businesses in Saugeen Shores and building our Chamber of Commerce to the success it is today” said Mitchell.
After growing the SSCC to over 500 members, creating successful events and networks, Mitchell is confident about its future. “Our team is ready for 2024 and beyond, the great work with our community continues”.
Christine Mitchell’s last day with the Saugeen Shores Chamber is Friday March 8th, and it’s ending with a celebration of all women at the annual International Women’s Day breakfast. “This is one of my favourite events of the year”, said Mitchell, “it seemed fitting to leave on a high note, surrounded with inspiring women in our community.”
