Explore the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre this Spring Break

Spring Break may be a little later this year, but the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre still has you covered with a boredom-free week filled with special guests, individual craft kits and activities, movies on the big screen, and all the Bruce County history exploring you could ask for!

Be amazed by the Great Steverino’s sleight of hand illusions, as well as his special talents for the art of mentalism on Monday, April 12th. His combined magic and acting talents create shows that are polished, professional, and always entertaining. Then, on Wednesday, April 14th, Dr. Albert will demonstrate the neat properties of CO2 in his presentation and finish off by making a comet right before your eyes. It just doesn’t get any cooler than that!

Finally, on Friday, April 16th, join us and ‘Wild Ontario’ with their many feathered friends and stories. Visit brucemuseum.ca to learn more about the daily movies and activities. Tickets for special guest presentations and movies will be handed out daily, first come-first served, as space is limited, if required this program will be hosted virtually.

Spring Break Family Fun Days is proudly presented by Judy Rich Barrister & Solicitor and Southampton Rotary Club.

This is also an opportunity to explore ‘Trailblazers’ an exhibition created by The Canadian Centre for Gender + Sexual Diversity. This exhibition tells the stories of 12 remarkable Canadians who have acted as a voice for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and advocated for equal rights and freedoms in Canada. ‘Trailblazers’ is proudly presented by Bruce Power.

The BCM&CC is open Monday to Saturday from 10 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 4:30 PM, and Sunday from 1 PM to 4:30 PM beginning on April 6, 2021. Discover more and plan your journey through Bruce County history at brucemuseum.ca
