To the Editor:
I recently heard about the contamination in Fairy Lake.
It is ironic that early this month I wrote the story about harvesting ice in Miramichi Bay.
WHY? Because the board of health had given the town an order to stop using ice from Fairy Lake for public consumption because of POLLUTION.
That was 80 years ago!
