In retirement, Saugeen Shores police officer, Doug Lein, has taken to growing. Among his plantings are giant sunflowers that he has previously entered in the annual Pumpkinfest vegetable growing competition.
This year, with COVID-10, Pumpkinfest 2020 has been cancelled but that hasn’t stopped Lein from growing his giant sunflowers.
